Understanding your dog’s needs

Yes, your dog’s bad behavior may be caused by a health problem.

Is your puppy or adult dog acting strangely, being aggressive, fearful, phobic, hyperactive or depressed?  Many of these and other canine “problems” behaviors can result from a thyroid dysfunction, or a vaccine or drug reaction.  Even food with a high sugar content (all kibble has high sugar) can cause behavior problems, as it can with children.

According to pet vaccination and thyroid expert, W. Jean Dodds, “The principal reason for pet euthanasia stems not from disease, but undesirable behavior”.

Our holistic approach and advocacy of minimal vaccines and focus on your dog’s overall health sets us apart from other trainers who solely concentrate on behaviors without exploring their underlying root cause.  Just like us, in order for a dog to effectively learn, it must feel well and be healthy. Dodds, through www.hemopet.org evaluates and reads my own dogs’ thyroid tests.  My Vet draws the blood and I send it in to . Dodds who interprets test results by breed, age, and activity – which no one else does. She writes that this interpretation “often yields an expected normal reference range for an individual pet that differs from the test lab’s generic broad reference range.”

Through diet, minimal vaccine protocols and testing by Dodds, we can help your beloved dog live a happier and healthier life and through yearly testing get ahead of potential issues that may take years to manifest under normal routine care.  We want to be proactive identify health issues early before they become problematic and manifest outwardly.
